Carey Re-Establishes Technical Lead


Following Bryan Carey's recent return to the Managing Director's position at Roofing and Cladding specialists, Ash & Lacy Building Systems, he has completed a major review and reorganisation of the company's technical function and now takes the lead on all technical and development activities. Bryan is well known and highly respected within the industry not only for his innovative approach to systems and product development, but has also made significant contributions at industry body and regulatory level over more years than Bryan cares to recall.

Having invented and introduced the first engineered Bar & Bracket system into the UK 24 years ago, the continuous improvement of the market leading Ashgrid system recently saw the innovative Safe-loc mechanism added to its proven list of features. Following the recent opening of newly equipped, modern fabrication centres in London and Dewsbury, Ash & Lacy are now working on a number of innovative product and system developments which will be brought to market during the coming months. In addition, changes to the technical function, with Bryan at the helm, will help improve the levels technical support and service provided to our customers.

Mr Carey comments "This is a very exciting time in the development of our company. We have numerous new product and process development opportunities which we have been progressing in recent months and plan to launch shortly, supported by improved technical data. We have a huge amount to get through and a lot more will follow. Taking direct responsibility for our technical and new products activities has enabled me to re-energise this key area of the business and continue to build on our reputation for innovative development."

Bryan Carey takes direct responsibility for the newly reorganised technical team and Dixie Sandhu leaves the company.
