Ash & Lacy Expands Distribution Network Building on the successes of their West Bromwich, London and Glasgow operations, plans are well underway for the fourth depot, located in Dewsbury, south of Leeds, to be operational before the end of 2006, providing true national coverage. The new fabrication and distribution centre will offer the full range of standard Ash & Lacy fabrications, flashings and rainwater goods as well as bespoke architectural fabrications such as bullnoses, soffits and curved components to the same high standards of quality and customer service that the market has grown accustomed to receiving from Ash & Lacy. In addition the Ashfix and Ashgrid product ranges will stocked on site for onward distribution across the region. Michael Travis has been appointed as General Manager at Leeds, bringing with him 11 years of experience within the cladding, contracting and fabrication industry. Mike comments "Our extensive stocks, manufacturing flexibility and skilled staff enable us to manufacture standard flashings with short lead times, offering unbeatable service and flexibility". " In addition, we can produce one-off complex products from a variety of materials ranging from light gauge colourcoats, galvanised steel, mill finish aluminium and coated aluminiums. I am extremely excited with this new venture and opportunity to extend Ash & Lacy's excellent reputation for quality and service across the North East". The same product ranges will be continue to be offered from Ash & Lacy's new premises in Chessington following the recent move from their previous site in Kingston-upon-Thames. However, the move has allowed Ash & Lacy to expand their service offering to London and the South East with the new site providing a significant increase in production output and stock capacity. Both depots are located on new modern industrial units with quick and easy access to local motorway networks for ease of collections and deliveries.
