This is a joint statement by Talfab/Rigidal and Ash & Lacy Building Systems Limited concerning, respectively, the Ziplok and Ashzip standing seam roofing systems. The parties have been in dispute concerning the design of the Ashzip roofing sheets in certain respects of which design right has been claimed by Talfab/Rigidal. However, rather than allow the dispute to escalate a sensible commercial solution has been reached to the satisfaction of both parties, which recognises that lawyer’s fees are best avoided! In accordance with the settlement the Ashzip product will therefore continue to form part of Ash & Lacy Building Systems product range.
