Leading fastener supplier Ash & Lacy has teamed up with Van Roij Fasteners Europe BV to add a range of flat roofing and general application fasteners to their already extensive range of Ashfix roofing and cladding fastener systems. The new Eurofast range, which is available through Ash & Lacy's Glasgow depot is approved for use by major single-ply membrane manufactures such Sika-Trocal. Fasteners in the range are manufactured from high-grade, hardened carbon steel, which is plated with a Magni-Silver™ anti-corrosion coating to ensure optimum drilling performance. Complimentary decking plates are manufactured from high quality steel with a robust Aluzinc coating.

Following revisions to the Building Regulations a more rigorous method of dealing with repeated thermal bridges was introduced which now requires U-values to be calculated to take into account the effects of two and three dimensional heat flow. To reduce the effects of cold bridging, Eurofast employs a unique Telescope System which uses precision-moulded polypropylene / polyamide tube washers to resist extreme temperature fluctuations. Engineered to provide simple and rapid installation, this system also offers resistance against mechanical stress.
