Site Rolling
Mobile rollforming units provide efficient nationwide coverage
and offer the option of manufacture in a factory environment
or on site (depending on sheet lengths required). The method
of manufacture is usually determined by sheet length (for
sheets greater than 27m in length a police escort is required),
site layout and storage facilities. Sheets can be rolled directly
onto the roof at ground or eaves level eliminating the need
for any end laps as sheets can be produced to run from eaves
to eaves or ridge to eaves depending on the type of roof construction.
Ash & Lacy mobile rollforming units (MRU's), which comply
with the stringent Health & Safety requirements, are generally
supported by a crane, which negates any requirement for scaffolding,
towers or ramps. On large buildings the mobile rollforming
unit can therefore be re-positioned quickly and easily at
various locations along the roof.
Alternatively a mobile telescopic ramp can be used where space
on site permits or the mobile rollforming unit can be supported
off a scaffold. |
